Merry Christmas and a Free e-Book!

Merry Christmas!
How was 2018 for you?
My family and I had both good and bad times, but I’m choosing to focus on the good.
Do y’all like to travel?
My kids and I seem to have inherited the travel bug. My husband wasn’t born with this urge to go on voyages, but we cajoled him into crossing the Atlantic and taking us to Ireland.

He did really well, despite the fact that one night I fell on a bumpy sidewalk in the small Irish town of Dingle, and then we found out that a mini-tornado had knocked a tree onto our house back home in Mississippi.

We were blessed that our neighbors and friends took care of covering the hole in our roof and letting Service Pro inside to dry our home.
Actually, the blessings of our trip were many. We didn’t hate each other at the end of the two weeks! (Sometimes we fuss a little on vacations…) The weather was great! Only one day of rain in Ireland is pretty much a miracle. Everything was beautiful!

If you know me a little, you might guess that my favorite part was seeing their rocky beaches! And yes, I’m planning a novel where my characters will go to Ireland. The heroine might even fall like I did, ha!

What did you do this year? Can I pray about anything for you?
To celebrate the holidays, the Kindle version of my novel Tackling the Fields is free on Amazon right now!

Thanks for sharing your pics; so glad you made that trip. Sad for your weather destruction though.....we have had crazy weather here for months, but we are safe!
My prayer request would be for God's help in our health issues....glad I love to read cause am kinda homebound at present time....more so for hub than me.
I am waiting for Book 2 to be free, Janet. Then I will have all of that great series on my Kindle to read...lol.
Merry Christmas to you and your family!
Hope 2019 will be a good year for you.

Hi Jackie! Glad you are safe, but I will pray now for your health issues! That makes life hard!
I'm working hard to get a new book out in 2019 :)
Merry Christmas!

This has been a good and hard year. Thank God for the good and bad. We lost my father-in-law December 30 if last year. Then in November, my mother also went to be with Jesus. Christmas is on standby as I just got out of the hospital. Am waiting for a kidney transplant. So thankful for God's faithfulness even in the rough times.
Thank you for sharing your pictures of Ireland. Enjoy the trips through the pictures. Looking forward to reading the free book.
Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Barbara,
So sorry. That is hard. I lost my parents and mother-in-law in about sixty days in 2012. It was difficult but God was with us. I am praying now for your transplant. I'm glad you enjoyed our pics. We had a nice time.
Blessings
Janet

I did enjoy your kind email & the pixs! I always wanted to see Ireland after seeing "The Quiet Man"!
Family dynamics are always amusing & make for great memories!
I'm sorry for your bad luck with the tornado. I imagine that it could have been worse by wiping out your entire house. I experienced this past year my first 2 hurricanes & admit that I prayed the entire duration. I was fortunate that my house was spared & I'm thankful to the Lord.
The rest of 2018 has been spent with me trying to find work to do from home. I'm still hanging in there, but I'm here to say that widowhood smells really "bad"! :)
I extend to you & your loved ones a Blessed Christmas & New Year. Cherish & keep those you love very close!

Hi Cristina! Yes, we were blessed to have our home still standing! Hurricanes are so bad. And two in one year! Where are you? We've had them here but not two in a year. I'm praying right ow for your job and your healing in heart. I will try to take your advice, too.
Blessings and hugs,
Janet
