Hello Friends!
I had an interesting experience March 3rd, and I wanted to share my thoughts with you. I was leaving early that morning to fly to Atlanta for my daughter’s bridal shower that weekend. Dense clouds hung low in the sky, and there was a wind advisory for our area. I don’t get too nervous flying anymore, and I was going on Southwest so I chose a seat by the window. (One of the reasons I like Southwest is picking a seat and free checked bags!) I expected some bumps taking off and along the way, but I had my headset with praise music playing. “How You Love Me” by Patrick Gray. It’s a great song by the way! Watch and listen here https://www.youtube.com/watch?…

Once we lifted through the clouds, the sun glared off them, so I slid my sunglasses over my eyes. Instead of just the gray shimmer being shaded, my polarized lenses gave me a surprise.

Y’all might think I’m weird, but I felt like was seeing the sky and the world in the way the Lord might see it, with all the colors of the rainbow shining bright, despite however gray and thick the clouds might appear. I felt so many sweet emotions along with peace in that moment. I thought of how the storm clouds of life can make us feel walled in or hopeless, but if we could only glimpse or imagine the unseen reality that God beholds, we might find peace and rest in His care. He sees and knows the big picture. He sees and understands the entire timeline, not just one small troubled segment. He’s in control. He’s got you! You can trust Him with your past, present, and unseen future. So those are my weird thoughts for the week!
What’s going on with you?
Blessings in Him,
Janet

By the way, are you on BookBub? It’s my favorite way to find my good books for less, and my Southern Hearts 4-book collection is on sale there (and Amazon) for only 99 cents this week! Here’s the link on BookBub in you don’t already own them!
